Happy Easter!

we are cleaning house, the little kids are napping, quiet as a mouse, nothing much is happening, just the regular old stuff, getting ready for Easter, lot's of treats to make, but first we clean the house and do the laundry, then we get to bake....

Enough rhymes.

We are off from school this next week. I have lesson plans to make for the next 6 weeks, cleaning and putting away of many toys, wardrobe switching, yard work, garden clean up and planning and probably more to do.

We can see the light at the end of the tunnel. The kids are very close to getting several subjects done all the way. That's so cool. Once we get a little bit more done, I get to start planning for next year.

The kids have been swimming on Saturdays, reading a lot. Lady M has been reading a few books here and there, Bobbsy Twins, and some adventurous books like My side of The Mountain, Sign of the Beaver. She wants more books like that, too. Having a hard time finding ones that are o.k. for her. I guess she likes adventurous books. Master G has been listening to Tom Swift books and he really likes them. Little Ginger likes Little Pear and even the baby has his board books that he wants to listen to. Papa has been reading The Merry Adventures of Robin Hood to us in the evening.
Master G is doing well in the choir. I can't wait for the big spring concert that is coming up on Mother's Day. He actually sang some of a song to me the other day! We are eagerly awaiting the Sheperds Harvest where we will get to meet some friends and spin on our wheel and take a few more classes here and there and just have some nice textile fun.

Blessings, Jo
